We feel connection…
To the natural world, to fellow humans, to the stars in the sky. We have the ability to intuitively tap into that deep energetic weaving with one another, the inter-connectedness of all beings. But within that connection lives injustice and oppression, of people and planet. A culture where many struggle to survive, let alone thrive. How do we revitalize and honor the deep connection? How do we create equity and liberation for all?
Compassion Camp is an immersive, experiential gathering that weaves
“magic in the woods” with a commitment to justice and equity,
personal transformation with collective activism, and
soulful creativity and exuberance with a focus on social change.
Compassion Camp is medicine — a beautiful and at times uncomfortable invitation to healing and a taste of what’s possible when we truly show up for each other. It’s an opportunity to sit with discomfort and to learn necessary practices for resilience, conflict without control, and moving through grief.
Compassion Camp is a tapestry of shared and deeply personal experiences, as we learn from teachers and one another in workshops, group activities, and conversations by a roaring fire and over nourishing meals. There is also sacred space for introspection and individual cellular healing, through movement, art-making, or simply a quiet walk on the trails.
All of the experiences come from a perspective of Souldust-style embodiment, an alchemical combination of elements: creativity, play, ecology, spirituality, self-care, personal growth… and most of all, the deep belonging found in a community where everyone is seen, heard and honored.
I will be offering several workshops and ceremonies this weekend - Disarming Our Language, Radical Self-Care for BIPOC, No Bystanders (for people with perceived privilege), and a Grief Ritual.
